Bio

I am Valentin Jankai, a professional progressive metal drummer from Hungary. Member of Leander Kills, Blind Myself, and Triász.

  • Joined Blind Myself in 2008 at the age of 17.
  • Received the Hungarian Metal Awards: Best Concert Band award with Blind Myself in 2009.
  • Won the Hungarian Metal Awards: Best Concert Band award with Blind Myself in 2010.
  • Nominated for the Hungarian Grammy Awards (Fonogram) for Best Rock Album in 2010 with Blind Myself.
  • Nominated for the Hungarian Grammy Awards (Fonogram) for Best Rock Album in 2014 with Blind Myself.
  • Founded the new band Leander Kills.
  • Nominated for the Hungarian Grammy Awards (Fonogram) for Best Rock Album in 2016 with Blind Myself.
  • Reached the finals in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 Hungarian Selection Show.
